PhD Projects available for 2012 start
Follow the links below to find out about research projects offered in this RAE 5* rated School. Projects may also be developed in consultation with potential supervisors in the School.
The Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) has awarded the University of Bristol's School of Earth Sciences six research studentships each year in recent years in addition to NERC Open CASE and tied studentships.
Students are also funded from a variety of UK and international industry and government sources.

You can apply online here. If you wish to be considered for a NERC studentship or a University of Bristol scholarship the deadline is 31st January 2012.
